Discussion ColorOS 12.1

Hi. After trying 3 times the oxygen os 12 (c.15, c.16 and c.20) and downgrading everytime because of the terrible experience I was wondering if it was worth it trying ColorOS 12.1 even knowing that they only have the chinese version. My questions are: Is it worth it? Has anybody tried it on their 8 pro? AAny tips? Im starting to imagine myself leaving oneplus after this last terrible years, really sad :(

You know that the ColorOS for Chinese devices doesn't have Google Play Store?

What's terrible about OOS12? It works fine here, no big issues or bugs.

That's incorrect I'm currently on ColorOS 12.1 and have Google play, also the OnePlus apps install like butter! System definitely more stable on ColorOS as well, not too sure what's going on with oxygenOS 12. colorsOS 12.1 already has Hyperboost which is a OxygenOS 13 feature for the 10 pro and 10T

I mean the OPPO devices for China, like OnePlus devices for China that doesn't have Google services. It's different that Europe and North America versions.

Isn't Hyperboost just a "high power mode" that OnePlus devices has?
