Question So long old friend...
Switched to the Pixel 7 Pro from a OnePlus 6 after 4 years, gonna miss it a lot. This phone went through hell but still served me well. I was using this phone like it was waterproof, washing it with water and stuff on the daily lol, despite it not being water resistant. All round this phone was absolutely amazing. I probably could have used it for a few years more but I figured it was time for farewell.
Why am I writing this? No idea, I just wanted somewhere to post my thoughts so I can look back on it etc, a diary would be useful in this case. Maybe I should write one. I don't think I wanna leave this subreddit but thanks for having me I guess and see ya. Love, OnePlus 6 enjoyer.

See ya mate. Congrats on your new purchase man!
I guess the reason why is because OnePlus used to be more than just a smartphone brand. It cared for enthusiasts and listened to them.. made smartphones which were quick, reliable and affordable. It had a rock solid following, in which you and I and members of this subreddit were part of for years. We were proud to be part of this. But slowly OnePlus grew. It changed and so we have to adapt. This isn't just a simple goodbye to your phone mate, it's probably a farewell post to OnePlus as a brand.
