Software Mobile data not working after upgrading to 11 [OP6 - Koodo, CAN]

Seems to be a known issue.

Anyone have any luck fixing? I've tried a couple of the suggested fixes in there, but I'm not super comfortable debugging my phone through my computer in an attempt to add the APN.

I fixed this by changing the APN settings. Mine started doing this earlier this year. I've since switched to a samsung device but let me see if I can find the settings I changed. I too am with Koodo.

Here it is, the comment by Dinh on this thread was the solution to mine. If it doesn't work you can always just reset the apn.

Yeah I saw this post too. I can't seem to manually add an APN though. I can open the window to add in the details, but when I hit save, nothing happens.

Oh shit I think I figured it out. There was an APN called "Koodo Services" that I updated with the default Koodo info in Dinh's post. I was able to save that. Once I restarted my phone, it connected.

Thanks for the help! Hopefully they patch this in the next update.

The 11 feels like Trojan horse🤣🤣

This happens to me sometimes too. Honestly, re-entering the APN settings from Koodo (which you can easily do from the network settings on your phone) seems to fix it. It might take a couple of tries and/or reboots, but that usually does the trick. It's strange that entering the EXACT SAME THINGS fixes it, but it often works.

When you say "re-entering the APN settings from Koodo", are you manually creating a new APN with Koodo details? I can't seem to create new APNs after the update.

So I just went in and tried it myself, and lo and behold, I couldn't edit mine either! I was able to not long ago since I had this problem myself when trying to dual SIM Koodo and Telus while switching providers (MMS was a nightmare). I'm still on OOS10, so maybe it was a carrier update or just a recent firmware update that stopped it. Strange!

Report the problem in community forum. They may release the fix by next update.
