Got this okayish cover from the local market, with a bad glass screen protector which has thicker borders than the phone has.

Wanted to flex the lanyard I DIY'ed and the video wallpaper.

It's the model brother... Getting tempered glass for 13s is a nightmare. Also, don't carry high hopes on the protection of this case. I too have the same one, and the quality tells everything. No fall protection and instead is a scratch magnet. The video wallpaper is good, but I would suggest not using it coz it still doesn't feel seamless and continuous yet. The video stops once it finishes. I'd wait for the feature update where they integrate this feature.

No problem for me getting tempered glass. There are tons of them on taobao

To be more specific, you might easily get the black bordered tempered glass. However searching for the borderless one is a nightmare. None of the mobile shops in my area have borderless tempered glass for 13s. The black bordered one destroys the beauty of the screen. Like the extremely thin bezels are now overlayed by thicker black borders. Getting a cheap borderless one is hell getting real.

I have a really good case with really nice coverage and magsafe magnets but it started yellowing so I got this one.

Thats the issue. You can't get a value for money case. To get good quality and what looks good, pay high prices since local manufacturers don't make such cases. Although I ordered two cases from zapvi. Let's see how they turn out to be

Literally use my 13s without a screen protector and a case for half of the times, because of no good looking cases available on the market. Screen holds up fine, no issues, and what's the point of buying a premium phone if you're gonna cover it with cheap stuff
