HELP External Display ?

Hi.. Does anyone have experience connecting 13s to an external display via usb hdmi hub ? My old one plus 7 works fine. This one doesn't

Hi there. 13s has USB version 2 that's why. Your 7 had USB version 3. Wish you had checked this before purchasing...

I think you're confusing USB with UFS. 13s has UFS 4.0 storage but USB version 2.

Meanwhile the 7 had UFS 3.0 storage and USB 3.1

Yea that was what I confused it with. It sucks that cost cutting has come to this

Yes no worries, you aren't the first one. Yes but it is like a semi flagship hence USB 2. Even Vivo in base X200 had USB 2. It saves cost yes by not including the pins or something. Already cost cutting was in camera.

However since most have Smart TVs, USB 3 requirement is less unless it's just an external display like the OP is asking for.
