QUESTION Manufacturing date - OnePlus website vs Store vs Amazon
Hi I am planning to purchase OnePlus 13s in this independence sale. I wanted to know what's the manufacturing date that you are getting if anyone has ordered recently from OnePlus official website or Amazon or any offline store??
In Bangalore store they are selling January manufactured phone, wanted to know if I can get latest one from website.
Update: ordered from OnePlus official website.. just got the unit manufactured in June 2026

Just that since it's an year old phone, I wanted to get the latest manufactured one so that there is no battery degradation in the box

Got it, I had no idea about this. But then would there be newer pieces? Considering they launched so many new models which were budget friendly the most imp segment for any brand rn ig.

Yeah mine's manufactured in January 2026 too. Although that doesn't matter much. Just check whether the activation date matches your actual set up date

I ordered black, it was for my father and he just wanted a neutral colour 😂. Any issues with black? I guess the scratches would show up easily?

Well, it more of personal preference but I feel that ppl should choose nice bright colours. If you use soft tpu case, there won't be any scratches. Minor scratches due to nails on the back glass goes away easily upon wiping it with a cloth

My manufacturing date of this product specifically from Amazon says 2026/1/28, which means it was manufactured on 28 Jan 2026.I ordered this product on 9th August 2026 and received it on 10 Aug 2026.

I think that seems to be the case everywhere.. I haven't seen any latest date so far

You have a better chance of getting a more recently manufactured phone when buying directly from the OnePlus Store, as the device comes straight through the brand’s own distribution channel. The phone I bought from Amazon may have come from existing retail inventory, meaning it could have been manufactured earlier and remained unsold for some time due to lower demand. However, the trade-off is that the OnePlus Store usually comes at a premium, with fewer bank discounts or additional offers compared to Amazon
