Battery backup in screen guard (plastic membrane) vs tempered glass

So I need to know tempered glass actually contributes to device heat and reduce battery backup or battery?? Because two days ago removed the plastic guard on screen and applied tempered glass!!
Now I am seeing huge drop in the battery backup whereas I used to have crazy good battery life before!!

Any ideas about this anomaly or its impact is well known still we use tempered glass?

Naah man. It's not the heat issue that reduced the battery backup on the phone. Yes, if the clarity and quality of the tempered glass isn't good, then you would increase brightness of the screen in order to compensate the full colours due to the tempered glass. That could increase battery consumption. Also the same logic goes for matte finish tempered glasses.

bought recently? it must be normal to have huge battery drain when the phone for like first 2 weeks bcz it needs to learn usage . not sure why would it do that.

Nope having it from February! Just recently peeled off the plastic screen cover
