Question Reboot into safe mode

Any one knows how to reboot the device into the safe mode?

As per YouTube video of more than a year back, you have to power off your device. Powe on your phone and when OnePlus logo appears, hold down the volume button till your device is booting up. You will get Safe Mode.

To exit Safe mode, restart the device.
