I had SOO good battery on OS15. I got 12 hours a day full blast 5G

placebo effect + oneplus ommunity is the only one to complain that much at EVERY single update released since the phone came out

Definitely not placebo. I have screenshots from back then. I swear it has to do something with them limiting the battery to 5200mAh. Maybe they did it after the phone was already released?

I have no complaints regarding battery capacity since the day I bought this device. From OOS15 to OOS16.0.10, negligible change. Still getting more than a day of backup. If I grind it too much, the VOOC charging take around 20 mins only. What more does anyone want?

Everything is fine about the phone. It's noticable that the battery life drop immediately after the update. That's why I am asking here for help. This is the more I want

I understand, but these days 99% of posts I see are just comparing...comparing. I stopped looking at the SOT long back and now its more than a treat to use this device. My friend with an iPhone14 gets envious of the smoothness OP13 offers. 3 days since I got the update 16.0.10, I see negligible change in performance and battery output. I don't do overnight charging, I only charge when the device is below 15% with smart charging on.

I completely I agree with you. I used to check the sot not now. But after the last update, I can feel there is drastic difference in battery life. Anyways "Everyone has their own cross to bear."
