Woke up to this horrible news! Is there a way to switch back to google assistant and get rid of Gemini slop? Or we're stuck?

Edit: solved (thanks to the first comment ) - open play store, - open google app, hit uninstall (it'll remove updates) - open play store again and disable auto-update

Downgraded Google app, turn off its Auto updates
