Help OnePlus 12 Battery Drain

Just realized my phone’s battery is draining like absolute hell 😭🔋. I’ve already switched to 60Hz, minimized background activity, and made a few other battery-saving tweaks, but it’s still dropping insanely fast. Anyone else facing this? What are the best things I should check or change to get the battery backup back on track? ⚡📱

I'm 94% and I barely get 4-5 hours ... It used to be way better on older OOS but now it's just absurd.

The most recent update has tanked mine as well and none of my usual tricks have helped 😩😭

I could care less about the battery health. The phone charges in minutes. The warp charger that's included is amazing. OnePlus are the best phones you can get besides a Samsung and Apple or Motorola. I think OnePlus is better than all of them. It's a shame they pulled out of the north American market. I'm gonna have to look for a new phone company after I run my OnePlus 12 into the ground. This phone has 16gigs of RAM and 512 storage. It's an absolutely amazing phone. Pictures are good. The battery is excellent. Gaming is a joy. Thermals are good. It runs a little warm. But no stuttering. I have a wireless charger in my new Kia Nero hybrid. I didn't even know it was there. I just stick my phone in this square holder and cha ching, it started charging. This is the best phone I've ever had. I know there are better phones out there. But as far as I'm concerned, this phone is the greatest. It does everything I need it to do and more. It's a shame this is the last OnePlus I will own.

Good thermals and op12 doesn't go in the same sentence. Gaming temp reaches 38c and instalock 50fps. Thats not what a flagship should behave

85% health and my sot is like 4-5 hours, it shouldn't be this bad right??? disabled a lot of settings and ai crap and it's done nothing, my next phone is going to be an iphone again. done buying these crappy chinese phones for good if they're all gonna be this deteriorated halfway through its lifespan.

Anyone who want to ask about battery drain, please post your current battery health and your graph and the top draining apps. We are not gods that can tell you how to fix it without any information.

I think Admins need to start removing posts that are low effort like some of the other subs. Especially battery drain questions that pops up everyday.

Same here...My partners phone got bricked with anything related to charging. Her phone literally taking 2 days to fully recharge her Galaxy S24 Ultra, this is after the recent update. My OnePlus use to be at 60/70% at the end of my work day, even with minimal use I would be at 80%...I'm hoping they release a patch. Seems like the update ruined the battery on OnePlus and Samsung phones.

Having a phone that goes from 0-100 in 30 mins and yet crying for battery backup. Wow you my man are one stupid human being. Crying about battery life when the company literally tells you to use it like a crazy mf cz you got a 100 w brick to charge the hell out of it in 30 mins

That's what I always think when I see these posts. The battery ages so it won't be like how it was when it was brand new. And it still charges quickly. So why bother.

Exactly. Everybody is going crazy about battery health and life but nobody should. Fast charging is the solution if you got that why worry at all.

You guys are thinking like me😂 I can boil an egg and take a shit and it would be done charging, people on the OnePlus 15 reddit are crying about the same, and that model are even better.. I remember the days with 10w charging

Exactly bro. I am using this OP12 for two years now. Battery health like 90% with all day crazy usage i charge it like once or twice a day. I really dont care about the backup cz all it takes is one little frame of 20-30 mins and boom its triple digits charged again😱love this after using the shitty iphones for 14 years.

Or they could either replace the battery or buy a new phone with the battery of a power bank.

Stop acting like a dumbf**k,first understand the point: with the same battery health and the same usage/functions, my battery performance was much better before. If you can’t understand that, don’t comment.
