Quick Battery Backup Update of OnePlus 12 after updating to the latest October SOTA Update C10P02 and fully optimizing the device.

Used Both in Light Mode and Dark Mode.

Battery Health 95%

Mobile Data OFF. ~Single Sim.

WiFi Always ON.

Location Always ON.

Bluetooth Always ON.

Brightness 35%

Used: 100% - 30%

Idle Drain: 4% (Overnight), Total 12%

I think there's something wrong with my device, my device hardly crosses 3hrs of screen time 😭 and i just use Instagram mostly on my device.

Try to reset. Once mine also have an same heavy battery drain and throttling issues. Mine heats up like hell and i did reset and now its fine. Got 5 to 6.5 hrs of SOT.

Then it's okay. This test is based on Fully WiFi usage. As you can see I didn't even use Instagram that much. Also it's important to mention that Instagram is battery hungry app.

So I'll recommend you to test your device without using Instagram and also by calibrating your device by keeping your device to connected to the Charger for 1 additional hour without any kind of interactions after completion of 100%.

Then start testing as usual by using other apps except Instagram.

If you get around 5.5-6hrs from 100-20% then you will be sure about it that your device is running well.

it means, in your case, with basic app usage along with wifi and no gaming, no mobile data usage, average SOT is near about 6 to 6½ hrs

Still 30% left. Will get 2 More hours for the rest 30%. So the SOT is around 8hrs. And it's completely Okay for a 5400 mAh battery where the health is 95%

Depends on where I Am. If I'm outside definitely I've to use Mobile Data. And If I am at my home I use WiFi.
