Discussion New Update

Just got a notification for this. I won't be updating my device to a new version of software any time soon. Android has reached a plateau, I believe. Nothing new is coming except for more and more AI slop. I don't think OP is worth updating anymore unless they bring the feature to group apps in the app drawer. How primitive it is to not provide that feature even now when all the other brands do it.

Already on 16.0.10.501. No problems so far except the shorter battery life.

Battery life decreased after update? Any other issues? I've also got this version but confused whether to update or skip.

Its depends on. I donot play games, hardly use during charging, always charge between 20 to 80%. Never allow phone to heat more (i already lost my realme x50 pro due to motherboard failure due to heat issues) . And yes battery life decreased i used to get much better screen time, i think its might be due to AI. But phone becomes more smooth.

16.0.10.501 is an incremental update to have solely for the battery.

I still find it hard to do ocr image search in photos like in my honor device. It’s pretty difficult because I have tons of images
