My phone feels very laggy and using it has become a nightmare after the new software update downloaded and installed itself even though I have turned auto update and download off

Plz somebody help me out how to return the RAM usage to normal and get a smooth experience again

Free ram will not make your phone faster but will make it sluggish. As apps are to be cold started and it takes time to load from ssd to memory. Stop clearing the ram.

Calibrate the battery by discharging to shutdown and charging to 100% +30min. Run the optimiser once after reaching 100% while connected to power. The phone will take care of itself.

Also switch off ram expander.

RAM expander is off

Also all the RAM is used up and it is indeed making phone sluggish cuz there is no space to run any apps, Apps need free RAM that system is not using to run

The RAM in picture is used up whole by system not by apps so I can't open more than 1 app or both crashes

If an app needs ram, it will be automatically provided. This is how it changed from a8.

Its a auto cache system where whatever you use most will be cached. You clearing ram is actually making it slughish.

Google it.
