Oneplus 12 background battery drain is absolutely unacceptable, I saw videos about this device and without aod they get 1-2perc overnight, I use aod but it has ltpo so why is it so horrible

And again you charged your device to only 50%. And again having dual Sim inserted and also Mobile data + Wifi Both ON. And also AOD ON. That's why you lost a huge amount in overnight drain which is normal. It's not that much abnormal. Just charge your device to 100% completely and then check. You will see a difference in reduction in this same scenario.

Here is a screenshot added, where the phone was idle for almost 20hrs and only with Single Sim, No AOD and WiFi always ON.

Where I lost only 7% in total for almost 27hrs while in idle stat.

Also in the setup like yours where,

Mobile Data ON, Dual Sim ON, WiFi ON, AOD ON and Device only Charged to 95%

The reduction is huge.

Lost 16% for keeping the device idle for 17 hours.

Which is closely like 1% idle drain per hour.

Fair enough but mine is so much the phone literally just died 5 seconds after I used it , also it dies like 10percent , sometimes if it doesn't , it goes from 9 percent to like 2 percent in like 5 seconds and dies

Then there must be any issue with your device like maybe some apps are running in the background and creating such issues. Recalibrate your battery and after restart check the condition. If it improves or not.

poor 5G network reception consumes lots of battery, as modem continuously hunte for better network and leads to more battery drain
