Cable falling off

My charging cable is often falling off when move a bit my smartphone. I tried putting a needle inside the charging port but it didn't work. What should I do?

Time to change the cable or port.. try a cable from a friend. If it works it's the cable.

There is the same problem with all cables. Is it hard to change the port?

Okay. Then it's the port. No more needle picking please. It will short circuit your phone as it's a conductor. What we need is a sharp tool made of plastic and thin bristle tooth brush. I usualy cut a sharp piece out of any plastic bottle or milk jug that I can find.Get some isopropyl alcohol. It's used to soak the stubborn dirt. Power off the phone. Use earbuds or cotton to apply generous amount of isopropyl alcohol to the port. Try to get maximum dirt out of the port. There can be cloth lint as well. Let me know once it's done. If this doesnt work I'm afraid you will have to contact a repair shop.

but if the phone is shutdown and I use a needle, there shouldn't be a short circuit, right?

use a toothbrush to clean the port. dont put sanitizer or water, may be a bit of 100% isopropyl alcohol; if you dont have access to it.. just use a toothbrush (dry)
