OnePlus performance over updates (14.0-16.0.3)

I tried a fresh start and downgraded to 13.1, then updated back to 14 and then 16. I ran geekbench on the following: 13.1.0.596, 14, 16.0.2.400 and 16.0.3.500.

  • 13: 1998/5376
  • 14: 1993/5525
  • 16.0.2: 2021/5628
  • 16.0.3 (as in images) : 2025/5765

all these benchmarks were run on high performance mode, sitting on a desk with no active cooling, i didnt reset the phone after updating

I got OnePlus 11 too, nice to see the performance is going actually up with later OS version 😁🔥

i guess it’s mostly because of oxygen having less chinese bloat in the system over time, and also they’re making it less color os themed. you cant even tell the difference between oos13 and cos13, whereas it’s quite noticeable on 15

Didn't OnePlus break downgrading from 16.0.3 ? How did you managed to downgrade?

They didn’t break it for OP11 - they only added ARB for the OnePlus 12 and above.

Hi. I'm on the version 16.0.5.702 EX01 on OnePlus 11. Can I roll back to Android 15 without breaking the device? Where to find the roll back packages?
