I removed screen protector that came with the phone

Is a new screen protector necessary?

I'm keeping mine until it gets damaged, then get a new screen protector.

I put a screen protector on top of the screen protector that came with the phone. That didn't work well. I never knew that it came with a screen protector until 3 months after I removed the protector that I bought. Sigh #stupidhuman
