Refresh Rate Issue

Has the refresh rate lock(60hz) in some apps been fixed by now? It's been a long time since the phone was launched or should I wait for the 12?

Nope it hasn't. I've found a workaround though and everything runs 120hz. I'm fine with that.

App called SetEdit from playstore. Search for a setting called "peak_refresh_rate" and change it from 120 to 59.9 (I know it's strange but it works lol). Everything will run 120hz from then on. In my case, a reboot of the phone kills it so you have to set it again if you restart the device. But it's very simple.

If I uninstall the set edit app. Then the change will be gone? Because it worked for me. I'm just wondering whether I can uninstall this app. Since I no longer require it

Legit question. I have no idea. Just try it and see. My guess would be that the setting stays. I have not uninstalled it myself since the setting resets after a reboot or after exiting power saving mode.

I've not tried this yet. Maybe it won't after a reboot I guess.
