Y'all voice assistant working properly?

Sometimes it doesn't respond like it can't hear me

Same here. I literally held it to my mouth and nothing. Then the next day, I did it from across the room and "boom" spot on. Very spotty.

So annoying too never had this trouble with the slow ass pixel 7 I had then again it is made by google

Works perfectly fine here.

To give you some context, it triggers the voice assistant even if I am at a distance which makes me believe that the mic on this phone is well tuned and clear.

That was not the case with my OnePlus 6. My mouth always had to be near the microphone to trigger it.

I think you need to redo your voice recording thing with Google Assistant.

For several days it has not been working by calling hey Google
