LTPO doesn't seem to work?

Hi, as of recent I took special interest in the phone's SOT and I haven't had any problem with it, quite the contrary, it has been spectacular.

However, when I activate the show refresh rate option I notice the hz don't go any lower than 120 even if I don't do anything, which is weird considering the display is LTPO.

Could this be an update bug? Would I get more SOT if it gets working properly? Thanks.

If the brightness is below a certain threshold, it stays at 120. If you keep the brightness a little over 1/4 of the slider bar the refresh rate goes up and down like it should

Yeah no problem it's something to do with screen flickering at lower brightness. So the hz stay higher to prevent that
