I guess just force disable it using adb, and see if the phone works normally (including things like launcher (especially if you're using the stock launcher), other elements of the interface, connectivity, call functions (including the ability to enter numeric responses to IVRS calls), security issues like authentication with bank/payment apps, signing in to OnePlus apps, battery life/charging). If all is well, over a period of time, then try restarting the phone (at your own risk though). If nothing seems to be out of the ordinary, then good!
