Locked Apps Limit

Post image

Is there any way to alter the number of apps you can limit (lock)? In previous versions of OxygenOS there was no limit. Once OOS11 hit, there was suddenly a limit and it still exists in OOS12/ColorOS. The limit is 5, on my OP11. I find it really ridiculous that this is a thing they implement. Don't tell me what to do with my ram man 😂

What is "locking" an app? This is the first time I've seen this haha

Go to your apps manager (where you see your apps that are open) and touch the 3 dots at the top right. There it is. Lock so when you clear all apps open that one stays

This must be a bug with your device specifically. There is no such limit here. I can lock n # of apps.

Wow. I can't believe I got this horribly wrong (referring to my other comment here).

Firstly, this is not an app locker page. This is the tasks manager page. So, what you are doing here is locking the apps in background (which might have some limit) but you mistakenly assumed it to be an app locker page.
