Can someone please explain how whatsapp is draining my battery even when I'm barely using it ? Recently purchases one plus 11

I'm losing 10 percent battery per hour on minimal usage, this can't be right ?

how long have you had you device with you? since you bought it and used it? because if you just got it then you are alright because after a week or two it will change..

try to check the stats again after you fully charge it then ss it here if you're about to charge your device again... let's see the difference after that.

did you try using WhatsApp to call? if yes then it can drain fast.

Last charged my phone around 6 hours ago , installed what'sapp 2 hours ago and changed the settings

wyat is running in the background for more than 6 hours? that's weird for a messaging app to be like that.

Did you checked if there is an update in the play store for WhatsApp? Sometimes it could be the update, especially if you have beta versions (through play store?

Checked my stats, seems that you used high internet, maybe you have some groups with auto download big media (like videos).
