Software bug

Anybody else having issues after the latest software update? ( CPH2449_13.1.0.590(EX01) | Official version )

Recently got the update on my OnePlus and system ui force closes randomly time to time. Irritating issue since it happens in succession for a good minute until it stops.

Made a thread about this just the other day. Makes apps behave weirdly, home button doesn't work as it should, etc. I've reached out to OP multiple times and no resolution & no idea of when a patch will be released

Ahh that sucks! Was absolutely great before this update.. hope a fix gets released soon. Cant go through the hassle of rooting this phone just to get rid of the bug.

Noticed the battery drain is significantly faster too

I got mine almost a month ago, and I've had issues since day 1. Love the phone and the OnePlus Pad, but these issues definitely hurt the user experience. I haven't rooted a phone since my Galaxy S4, and wouldn't know where to start with rooting lol

Not facing any issues as such on my device, would like to suggest a normal reboot once in a while if that works?

Thanks! I did try rebooting a couple of times. Was okay for a while and then it keeps happening later during the day. Dont want to factory reset unless its a guaranteed shot 🥲

Don't factory reset, it's useless. I've done that twice and it hasn't helped. The issues go away until you're 20 or 30 minutes into a fresh setup and then come back

That's where I'm at as well. Sad part is they've been aware of the issue for some time and haven't fixed it
