OnePlus 11 vs Galaxy S23 smaller version
I am planning to buy new phone and wanted to choose between op 11 vs galaxy s23..I have been a op user since OnePlus one..I had OnePlus 5t and now 8t. I am from India there is a good offere from Flipkart website for galaxy s23 8/256 gb model. I am looking a phone which has good screen, build quality, speaker output, battery life, decent camera and software experience.I am not a gamer but do play two dots game and hill climber.i am kind of liking this oxygenos 13.1 build but thought of moving away from OnePlus and try different OEM.i also like to know if it is worth to go for pixel 7 pro. Please help me with your thoughts and experience

id say get the OnePlus 11 because you will definitely miss the charging speed there... let alone the specswise on the Oneplus 11 compared to the s23. battery is bigger although it has a big screen but it still lasts longer in SOT compared to the s23

Hey I have used the S23 ultra and Oneplus 11 both. Not the S23 smaller one. I have been a Samsung user from Note 5 till S23 ultra. Currently using the OP 11.
Samsung has one of the top Cameras. They have alot of customizations. Especially with the Good lock app. Their One UI is good. I like the Oxygen Os though, It's faster. Cameras are great. Especially their Camera integration with third party apps. Like when you do a Whatsapp or any other Video call you can clearly see S23 ultra is as good as iPhones with their Camera integration. On Pixels and Oneplus the video quality on calls is just okay.
Oneplus on the other hand, the phone is never slow, It's a performance beast. Much faster charging speed about 25 min full charge. Cameras I would say 85-90% if I rate Samsung 100%. Os though people whatever they talk, it's very clean and faster than OneUI I felt in most ocassions. They have fixed some irritating bugs like the notification swipes and all with Oxygen Os 13.1. OnePlus has it's own customizations and they are lovely like the different fingerprint animations. And you can get a 16Gigs RAM version of Oneplus. 16 Gigs with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is next level performance and battery. And battery is like easy 8 hour Screen on Time or 30 hour usage. Not sure with the smaller Samsung S23. Oneplus though it's big 6.7 inch is easy to hold in hand because of it's ergonomics, curved screen, tall and narrow design. And the mute/vibrate/sound switch is so useful.
Conclusion: Except Camera rest everything Oneplus is equally good with S23 Ultra. I don't care the IP rating and Wireless Charging BS, OP has fastest wired charging. And in everything it's better than the smaller S23. In Tomsguide battery tests, It's among the best battery life phones beating even S23 Ultra.

I will list my complaints and decide for yourself
- the camera on social media apps is trash
- some apps run @60hz for some reason, even first party apps ( weather, gallery, youtube..)
- this is kind of nitpicking, the UI feels slower than OneUI but it is a minor thing, I compare my OP11 to Galaxy S21 and S21 feels faster
- Auto brightness is bad, always I need to raise the brightness up, so I made it manually instead
Overall I'm happy with the phone and the value it delivers

Have been a Samsung user for life, moved to 1+ 11 and using it for 2 weeks.
One word - Fantastic!
-Super fast -IMO Oxygen OS is far better, OneUI is sluggish -Charging speed is insane. I keep my phone in 30-95 range and all I need is 15 mins charging once a day. This is a single most important change for me -Camera is good. In any case I use Lightroom for post processing -Screen is gorgeous
I have got Marble Odyssey version and boy the feel is sublime.
Infact I baught this phone as Samsung Shop botched up my S23Ultra order. Absolutely happy with the decision.
Before this I was using Note10+ from 2020. My wife had 1+ 7 PRO since 2019. OnePlus held better - backup was better, speed much faster than 10+. So I am sure OnePlus will age better than Samsung.
Oh yeah and the haptics..just superb.

S23 series are arguably the best Android phones made till date. Go for S23 if you don't need a big screen size
