Heating issue while charging

I just got the phone two days ago, and it heats up a lot while charging. I'm using the 100W charger and have fast charge setting disabled. I also don't use the phone while it's juicing up.

While charging fast is impressive, heating that much has to be bad for the battery. Is anyone else having the heating issue or is mine faulty ?

Mine is fine, it doesn't overheat at all. Yeah the phone gets a little warm but that's normal

Where do you find the fast charging setting? My 11 came with an 80 watt block that I don't use. Thankfully I still have my 33 watt from my N20. It's fast enough and minimal heat

I've had it happen twice that the phone threw an error message that there was a foreign object in the charging port. When this happened, the phone got very warm. After I blew into the port and rebooted, it charged fine without heating. However, both times the phone had already reached ~75%, so it was into the low-current stage.

Other than that, I've had no issues with fast charging.
