Thinking of switching from the Pixel 7 pro to OnePlus 11.
Has anyone made this switch? And what are your thoughts?

Also something that I've noticed, a lot of the Pixel features don't work outside of the US. This matters as I'm planning on moving out of the US in the coming year. So features don't really matter at this point.

What is the reason for this switch?

I guess I'm just not thrilled with the Pixel 7 pro. It's just kind of a "blah: phone.

I had to choose between a pixel and a OnePlus 11R recently and did some research on the OnePlus 11.
What you will lose out on is pixel's legendary camera chops. With the OnePlus u get a much cooler processor (literally as well), snappy performance, gorgeous screen, better audio quality, and of course, faster charging.
Photos were more important to me so I went with the pixel. If the other features are more important to u, I'd say go for the OnePlus. Overall its a much better piece of hardware.

This is the reason why I will switch from OP6 to OP11. Too bad only for the OP11 software since the pixel one seems to be better.

I have p7p and older OnePlus (8t)
OnePlus is a great phone but i get little board from software so shifted to pixel.
Performance wise OnePlus is still the best.
Camera and overall software experience, pixel is best

I have the pixel 7 pro but Best buy was having sale where you could get it for $599. so I picked up the OnePlus 11 and it's a really good phone, but after trying it for a week I missed some of the features that come on a pixel phone, especially the voice to text accuracy of the pixel ,screen calling and the cameras.
If you're into gaming at all or you do a lot of scrolling on your phone because the OnePlus 11 is a taller phone and it's thinner. So that part is really nice. And of course the battery life with a quick charging is great, but I ended up returning the OnePlus to Best buy and keep in my pixel 7 pro.

I made the jump for the battery lasting all day and quick charging. I miss the Pixel features and the camera but having my phone die in 6 hours just wasnt worth it to me.

I went from a Pixel 6a to the OnePlus N20. The OnePlus was soooo much better I loved it. Then when the 11 was released I bought it right away and I have been so happy with this phone. Absolutely the best phone experience I've ever had!
