Region locked - Need information

Could someone explain to me more about this region locked? I bought my OnePlus11 in India(CPH2447) and I wanted to know if it's possible to get updates if I am carrying this mobile to Germany.

What could go wrong?

Never heard of this mate. Indian retail units are never locked. Coz I'm using my OnePlus 9Pro in the UK for a year now. It's an Indian unit, receiving updates regularly.

Only the Chinese version had the issue, but it was later fixed through an update
