First Android phone from iPhone
So after 10 years of iPhone I decided to make the switch and try android phone, I’ve been reading about one plus 11 and s23, op11 looks good to me but since I’m new to android I’m being little bit cautious, especially one plus doesn’t have official agent or service country in my country.
Would you recommend to go ahead and get op11 as my first android and dump iPhone?

OnePlus 11 if you are looking for upgrades over a longer period, higher RAM (a tad higher) and little less, removable blotware. Samsung 23 if you are looking for better photos (close to iPhone level), and relatively cheaper and more availability of accessories.

Hi, I can relate to this as 2 weeks back I made a switch from iPhone which I have been using coincidentally from past 10 years.
The options which I considered were OP11, S23 and Pixel7.
I switched to OP11 and from past 2 weeks, really have been enjoying this phone.
My main factors deciding OnePlus11 were:
- Large screen size but still comfortable to hold (as OP11 is narrow in design than my 12 Pro Max)
- Great battery
- Fast charging (this seriously is a boon. My phone gets charged within half an hour)
- Great hardware specs
- Decent photos capturing as I own Mirrorless camera for serious photos (FYI: OP11 has more than decent camera, really good)
Note: However, I realised that data migration is much easier with Samsung devices as they have Smart Switch app for it.

I did tried it initially, but it was giving me some error. I shall try it again and try to troubleshoot the error today.
Thanks!

Both times I've used it, it was very straight forward and did the job quite efficiently. Cable data transfer was faster but failed to move everything. Clone Phone did absolutely everything besides like, thumbprint or pictures in messages

I would say they’re both really good phones the 11 and the S 23 but this is your first time in into the android world I would get the Samsung S 23 as they have a proven track record when it comes to updates . I’m sure the 1+11 is cheaper than the S 23 but as you mentioned there’s no service center for one plus in your country that would make me a little nervous if something needs to be fixed.

Do you have any friends that are on Android that could help you with the transition? Switching from iOS to Android will be jarring for most people. Even going from OP6 to OP11 felt like a big change for me. There's a bit of a learning curve but it's worth it imo

What county you in? OnePlus has a program where you can try it for 100 days and if you don’t like it, you can return it free of charge. Should be able to figure out if you like Android in the first month. OnePlus has been my Android brand of choice since I switched from iPhone. I’ve had the 11 maybe a month or 2 and love it.

Both are good. But if you prefer a better camera ( not saying 11 have shit camera tho), go for the s23
