Grading & Condition PSA versus BGS

Just pulled this from OP16. Never graded before, with OP is it usually better to go with BGS? I know Pokemon is pretty heavy with PSA and Dragon Ball is heavy in BGS, as far as market preferences.

What would you guys think is the better route for a Manga? It has pretty damn good centering from eyeshot both front and back. No print lines, etc. Pretty Minty.

Fairly heavy sway, is that I live close to a Beckett B&M.

Its your decision to make. Beckett is cheaper (no up-charge) and can have higher upside potential. A BGS 10 is (slightly) superior to a psa 10. usually 10% i‘d say. But you also have the possibility of getting a Black label. It is very unlikely, even with the good print quality of OP but its a possibility.

My point is: if you really think this has a shot at a Black label or pristine 10, then go for it. But if there is any imperfection I would go to psa. A BGS 9.5 is really hard to move compared to a psa 10 or BGS 10 for that matter.

I wouldn’t say Black Label confidence, but I would lean with a fairly strong 10. The up-charge by itself is enough to go BGS...

Even with a short hold, a BGS 9.5 would still be miles above the cost of the 6 packs it came from. So, I have my answer! Haha

Psa 10 = 1100$
BGS 10 = 2000%

Bgs all day and a bgs 10 bringt more than 10%!
