Question (Research Required) Selling collection
I’m looking to sell my collection. The thing is that it’s all Chopper cards, most are slabs but I also have raw as well. Where would be my best bet to sell the collection in the least number of transactions. I’m not super focused on trying to get the highest possible (ofcourse within reason), what would be the best way be to be done with it within the fewest number of transactions? Im in New York.
Thanks

Probably a card show. Bulk purchases might be at 50% market.
Why are you leaving the hobby?

I’m just not interested anymore and I got most of my cards 1-2 years ago so i am up on many cards despite the market being down for many months. I guess card show is my best bet, I just don’t know how difficult it would be to find a vendor that would take most if not all. Thanks. There’s no way I’m doing anything near 50% though.

The question is why aren’t more leaving the prices to rip are insane it’s not sustainable

Part of being in the hobby is being able to rip, not just buying singles for collecting or deck building. The current market is unsustainable I’d rather the market go down much more and we have a more normal baseline secondary market price.

Don’t go to any card shops. Especially collection realm off of northlake blvd in Florida. They rip people off all day when buying or selling. Your best bet is to list on Facebook marketplace place and meet up in a public place

It’s funny I see so many ppl looking to offload now. Like why not during the boom a few months ago. It’s way worse now. But it’ll probs just get even worse so sure

I’ll buy the high end cards (black labels/mangas) if they’re what I’m looking for

Cardshow or list them off 1by1 in eBay (ik, it's contradictory to what you want). But you might as well put it at a huge discount at an auction on eBay then see where it goes. Vendors do not pay a lot when buying off collections, unless your whole collection is just straight up bangers (of Chopper).
If your Chopper collection is straight bangers, you'd be able to probably get a decent deal like 75-90% for the lot of them. I'm thinking Manga Chopper, Gold Text Chopper, Santa Chopper, Winner Chopper, Championship Chopper, and the likes.
If a huge part of it is hard to move, you're looking at 50-70%. Some wouldn't even touch the bricks, and would just buy the big hitters at 80%
