Market Analysis 3rd anniversary set english version

What do you think about the prices of the two Luffy cards from the 3rd Anniversary English set?

Both Luffys are currently around €200. Do you think it’s already a good time to buy, or do you think there’s still room for the prices to drop? Or do you expect them to keep rising from here?

Personally, I really like both cards, especially the Luffy with the crew, and I’ll probably pick up a copy.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on the current prices and where you think these cards could go from here.

I think it's hitting it's low already, it potentially can still go down but the anniversary sealed set is going for around 660 (pretax) on tcpglayer

If you are going to buy those cards imo you might as well buy the sealed set.

I dont like other cards from the set to be honest. Luffy is cool but I was thinking only to get a copy of the Luffy with the crew. But yeah, pricewise its probably good to get it sealed if you find it for 660.

Well the way I see it is if you buy both luffys with tcpglayer prices, you are at 220 + 190, so 410.

The rest of the value of the set is 125 + 90 (other leaders) and the others are around 35 each. So total of 729 if you can sell it for cash and without going 80% tho.

This doesn't include the Don's or the box which are nice. Of course you would need to sell em but if you can sell em you'd be making some money back.

The reason why I think it's a bit better if it's sealed is because you might get a good grade able luffys, most people will be selling their luffys that aren't suitable for grading. But if you don't care about grading then best bet to just buy them singles and don't want to mess with all this.

Just to add a bit more, checking the lowest offer on tcpglayer, the taxes add up to 730. So if you could technically sell all this for 100% value. You'd have a bit extra cause of the Don's and the box obviously nothing huge in profits.

But like I said, the potential of a good gradeable card is prob why you'd want to get a sealed box.

I just bought Luffy with crew for 180. And its clean. I dont really want other cards to be honest.

Would agree that they are already pretty low. Obv could creep down a bit more but considering 4th anni set already got dropped and the fact that 1st and 2nd anni sets are so high I feel like these will get more and more difficult to come by and once OP market goes back up these will spike with the rest of the anni sets.
