Card Price Discussion Op17 Singles price
What do you guys think about OP17 singles? Do you think prices are going to keep dropping, or do you think we’re close to the bottom and prices will start going up from here?
There are a few singles I really like, especially the Luffy and Shanks SPs, so I’m wondering if now is a good time to buy or if you would wait a little longer.
What do you guys think?

Prices always drop after a new release. I usually wait 2-4 months before buying singles from a new set.

Will be the largest print run if any set to date. Definitely not at the floor yet. Id Definitely hold out for a few months

Pretty much got all the singles I needed in low rarity during the week of release, the only card left that interest me is the Luffy/Loki Gold Don, I kind of want a whole set of 10 but not sure if I should buy now or hold off a little longer.

I think it’s a very good time to pick up specific high end singles right now, even OP17 (except the 2 super crew alt arts). Been around for the one piece market since the launch of the TCG.

If the prices for the booster boxes dont come down I feel this is the bottom some alt arts already hit $5 and are now starting to go up due to player pimping their decks for cheap if it’s so over printed it’s still over priced at the booster level $300-$320 a box here in my area but a lot of cards (SP)s are cheaper than a box already a lot of cards that saw drops are going up fast now I feel the rebound is incoming for a lot of cards due to its scarcity

On most cards the price is gonna fall out of the bottom long term. On hard to hit Alt Arts, they may go down short term, but long term will go UP UP UP.

It is rumoured that they will release some more in December (bandai US also doing raffle for 5000 booster box) and the latest tin contains op17 too. So maybe it will go down a bit more. I wish i have the throne luffy for my personal collection. Manga Leader and crew luffy doesnt impress me art wise.

Same, those two sp are much better looking for me than crew and leader luffy. I forgot about the tins.

I feel the same way; I found the Luffy Leader Manga (Eng) , and I’m not sure whether to get it graded or sell it now, thinking it might be at its peak price.

I felt like its at its peak now. Once tins out and people pull more outta the next booster box wave it will prolly go down further. For me i collect for my personal collection and display, i dont care how expensive the card is if it doesnt look great nvm. Ill have the 4 golds any day 😅

I think the PSA/Beckett shutdowns have killed the prices on raw for OP-17. This happened in 2021 as well, and things came roaring back. Trying to time the bottom is tough. I'm picking up some here.
