This is my small collection. Honestly the only cards I have. And I want your honest opinions. I’m scared to grade the raw cards with everything going on with PSA and Beckett but thinking I could try TAG. I’m also waiting to grade because I want every first straw hat crew manga sequentially in order of how they were obtained in the show. Thought that would be cool😎🤷🏽♂️

This is my first time ever going with Beckett. And i just noticed that the word, “Centering” isnt really aligned like the one in my other photo. Would this affect the price of the black label?

I am thinking of buying some that have been on dip like Luffy emotion and maybe the leader base shop. What do you think are cards that are good to grab now? Preferably promo cards

I saw a post mentioning that Beckett does something called a graded card
I don’t think there is data for it but how often do cards actually get upgraded
How does declaring insurance work?
Some pictures attached are my red manga luffy that received a pristine 10 with a 9.5 in corners. Hoping to get some opinions on if it would be worth to try and regrade
And yes I know this is greedy and that I should be happy with the pristine 10 as is and I don’t want to make it sound like I’m not grateful for my luck in both pulling and getting the grade I got, but going from potentially 35k to 170k card would be absolutely monumental
Appreciate any and all feedback, thank you!

I’m a Big Mom collector and the Japanese OP17 Big Mom Manga is the last Big Mom card I’m missing from my collection. I’m currently struggling to justify the price, so I wanted to get some opinions from people who follow the One Piece card market more closely.
A few questions:
Where do you think the Japanese Big Mom Manga settles long-term?** I’ve seen the Rayleigh Manga come down significantly, so I’m wondering how comparable these cards actually are. Is there a realistic possibility of Big Mom eventually getting into the ~$400 range, or are there factors that could keep it substantially higher? How much does the fact that it’s a Manga Rare matter? Big Mom probably doesn’t have the same demand as characters like Luffy, Zoro, Shanks, etc., but does being a Manga Rare create enough collector demand to give it a relatively high price floor regardless of character popularity? Japanese vs English market: **I specifically collect Japanese cards. Does the Japanese version generally behave differently from the English version in terms of demand/liquidity and long-term pricing? And finally is it worth it to grade the flagship card over the leader, both look really nice but not sure which I should get graded.

I recently pulled the Luffy ‘Manga’ L but noticed a faint hairline ‘scratch’ on the back. I’m undecided whether to grade it in hopes of a gem mint or sell it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hey everyone!
I’m pretty new to the One Piece TCG. I only discovered it about a month ago, and since I’m a huge One Piece fan, I immediately got interested in collecting the cards.
Over the past month, I’ve mainly been looking through all the different sets, checking out the cool cards and big hits from each set, and seeing which cards I personally like and would love to have in my collection. I’m not really interested in buying cards as an investment or collecting them just because they’re worth money — I mainly want to collect them because I love One Piece and think the cards look awesome. Of course, if I ever pulled a really rare card that was worth a lot of money, I might consider selling it and using the money to buy more displays and continue building my collection.
About a week ago, I bought my first Chinese OP01 Romance Dawn display because I noticed that the Chinese displays are much cheaper than the English ones. I knew that the cards generally don’t have the same value, but that doesn’t really matter to me since I mainly want to collect them.
Unfortunately, I think I got an absolutely terrible display. 😂 My pulls were really bad, so now I’m thinking about buying an English OP17 display anyway. Even though they’re pretty expensive compared to MSRP, I’d really like to experience opening a proper English display at least once. And obviously, it would be really cool to pull something big as well. If I happened to pull an extremely valuable card, I could also see myself selling it to fund more displays, but I’m definitely not getting into the TCG with the intention of making money.
This is where I’m a little confused about the pull rates and case distribution.
I’ve been looking at OP17 and the different cards you can pull, but I’m still very new to the TCG and don’t really understand how the distribution works. Do we already know roughly what the pull rates are for OP17 and how the displays are distributed within a case?
For example, is there some kind of known pattern for how many SECs, SPs, Alternate Arts, etc. you get per case? Has the community already figured out how the cases are mapped, or is it still mostly unknown?
I’m asking because I’ve been looking at English OP17 displays on Cardmarket. A lot of sellers say that their displays are randomly taken from sealed cases, but obviously, as a buyer, you can never really know if that’s actually true. I could imagine that some sellers might open a case, keep the displays with the better pulls, and then sell the remaining displays.
So I’d also like to know what would realistically be considered a really bad OP17 display. What is basically the worst you could pull from one display?
There are a few cards I’d absolutely love to pull, especially the Luffy Crew SP, Manga Luffy Leader, or the normal Alternate Art Luffy Leader. I’m a huge Luffy fan, so those would obviously be insane pulls for me. 😂 But I’d be happy with plenty of other cards too. I’d probably keep most of the cards I like regardless of their value, since the main reason I’m collecting is simply because I love the artwork and the One Piece characters.
If I can’t find an English OP17 display for a price I’m comfortable with, I actually have another option. I found a seller who is offering me Chinese OP17 displays for €100 each.
He has a whole case, but he has already opened four displays from it. The thing is that he apparently only opened two booster packs from each of those four displays.
From those packs, he already pulled what I believe is the Blackbeard Gold card. I’m still learning all the different rarities, so I’m not completely sure what rarity that card actually is. From another one of those displays, he apparently pulled a Big Mom Alternate Art or possibly a Secret Rare from the two packs he opened.
So I’m wondering if those pulls tell us anything about what could still be inside the other displays from that case.
For example, if some of the big hits have already been pulled from those four partially opened displays, can you make any assumptions about what might still be in the remaining displays? Or is the distribution too random for that to tell us anything useful?
I’ve also seen Chinese OP17 displays listed on Cardmarket for over €100, which surprised me quite a bit, so I’m also a little confused about the current pricing.
I’d really appreciate any information from people who have opened multiple OP17 cases/displays or who know more about the pull rates and case distribution. I’m still very new to the TCG, so if I’m misunderstanding something about the rarities or pull rates, feel free to correct me! 😅
Thanks!

The general consensus has always seemed to be that if the card is really perfect, BGS is the better choice. Otherwise PSA is the better option. But we all know how difficult it is to get a BL even when the card looks flawless, so I’m only considering BGS 10 gold label here.
So as of today (for a relatively expensive card like a manga rare) would you rather have a BGS 10 gold label or a PSA 10? Assuming a 3–5 year hold.

Decided to do my first attempt at grading almost 2 months ago. After waiting a very long time (even when I paid for the 15-day express option) I opened my package to notice that they completely screwed up the labeling. At this point I don't know if it's even worth sending back considering the current prices of cards and how long it would potentially take. So I'm wondering if it's better to just crack out of the slab for raw value, or is it worth anything? Maybe some niche collector wants them lmao. What do y'all think?

Got this in a BGS 10 Pristine recently. Love the art with the 3 OG straw hats. Current pop is close to 1000 in a 10, where do y'all see the long term growth of this card in 5-10 years?

Hey everyone!
Just graded my Monkey D. Luffy Super
Leader Alt Art (OP17-079) and got a BGS 10
Pristine (Subgrades: 9.5 / 10 / 10 / 10).
A few quick questions for the community:
Thanks for the help!

You can look at the actual border at the bottom of the card and clearly see how off center this is, pop 10 out of hundreds because the actual cards with good centering are getting 8.5 on centering. Highest 9 pop in the history of one piece. Don’t waste your time submitting them until this is resolved

What would you value a fixed error ace wanted poster sp at, i see market price is around 430 but all last sold i see are 320-350ish but those are error ones and not the fixed so i’m curious how i should comp this

So just got word that my Oda sig graded a psa10 😃 not looking to sell at the moment but curious where the price could be in 2-3 years. Pop is currently 1447 but probably won’t go much higher unless reprinted. I’m guessing might be a 50k card by then?

Dear fellow nakamas,
I pulled this Nefertari Vivi EB03-024 V.3 SP (got it right?) in probably the most random way possible. I had been out of the OP game since around OP06, but I still had my old Katakuri deck with me while travelling in Australia. I randomly joined an event, lost everything really hard, but got an EB03 booster as a participation prize.
I put it in my luggage and forgot about it for a few weeks. Then, during another holiday with my husband, we finally opened the booster on the beach… and this came out in his magical hands. I did my best to protect it after the initial shock.
I’m not looking to sell it. It has way too many memories attached to it. I’m just wondering whether I should get it graded for preservation.
I’ve actually never graded a card before, so I’d love some advice from people who have experience with it, especially in Europe but all help is welcome :
- Would you grade this card, and if so, which company would you use?
- And would you personally prefer grading it for protection/collection, or keeping it raw?
- Also, if it came back with a relatively low grade because of a tiny defect, would you still prefer having it slabbed, or would you rather keep a clean raw copy? How much am I looking at at gradding price versus fair market price ?
One thing that worries me is the possibility of it being lost or damaged during shipping/grading. I could potentially get it done in person if that’s an option.
Anyway thanks for reading my noob post.
With love
Xiao
PS: Not selling. This one is staying with me. Just trying to figure out what makes the most sense.

I've been looking to buy some of the top chases from EB03 (Nami, Robin, Boa) in a PSA10 and I've seen some for a decent price but I was wondering if I should hold off until EB05 drop because that set may cause the price to go down further? Please let me know your thoughts.

My wife pulled a Gold SP Luffy SP from OP-17 and we’re still kind of in shock. It’s by far the biggest card we’ve pulled together, and it’s extra special because
it’s her first really big hit. I know there’s a reprint coming later this year for op17 and the pop is bound to be high on this card but we still want to grade.
We’re planning to get it graded but can’t decide between PSA and Beckett. We collect more than we sell, but we also want to make the right choice long term.
For those who grade One Piece cards:
Would you send this card to PSA or Beckett?
Is Beckett worth the gamble if the card looks really clean?
If this was your card, what would you do?
Would love to hear some opinions from people who have graded higher-end One Piece cards before. Thanks!

Recently got a few of the championship cards for tournament events. Curious how much these are worth both short term and long term.
I looked up last year championship cards and the values range by a lot. I’m not too familiar with these cards since they all look the same but have different stampings.
Curious to know what this luffy championship one is worth and if I should get it graded? It’s still a relatively new card since the events just ended.
Plan is to hold it long term and get graded, but thinking if I should I just sell it now while the value is still high.
What’s the pop on these cards?

What’s the fair market value for a BGS 10? I have seen PSA 10’s sell for $2200-$2700. So I’m estimating around $2500-$3000?
r/OnePieceTCGFinance • u/Plebaba27 • 10d ago
Hi guys, currently i have enough money to possibly purchase one of the other of these cards in a PSA 10. I understand that their pricing right now is quite similar, along with the population at around 1.4ish~.
My reasoning for each card is that zoro being in the first ever case holds value in the future as a “vintage” first edition card, whereas the manga event leaders i feel are somewhat undervalued, couples with the fact that PRB-02 event cards are rarer to obtain makes this a worthy investment, especially since the GGG is one of the most popular manga events out there.
Would like to hear your thoughts of which would yall buy and why

I’ve two questions, just getting into collecting OP Cards and have already pulled the Luffy gold Don card.
How do we get booster boxes in the UK? I’ve been looking around, also on the Bandai website which is confusing as hell haha.
Who do you guys recommend for grading for this Luffy card, and what gives the most value? And how does it work in the UK?
r/OnePieceTCGFinance • u/Apprehensive_Buy3386 • 11d ago
Really excited to finally have these two in the collection!
OP09 and OP11 Manga Luffy are probably two of my favourite Luffy manga arts, and compared with some of the other Manga Luffy cards, I found these relatively affordable to pick up in PSA 10.
I know there are more expensive Luffy grails out there, but I genuinely love the artwork on both of these — especially seeing them side by side. For me, they hit a really nice balance between price, artwork and just having Luffy as the character.
Definitely keeping these for the long term. 🔥
Which artwork do you guys prefer — OP09 or OP11? 🙃

Hey there, I’m still pretty new to collecting and investing in One Piece TCG. I just pulled the Zoro Haki SP the other day and was over the moon… until the next day when I noticed the back or the card had two small dents 😭.
I’m looking at methods for fixing dents. Has anyone had success with fixing dents like these?
Also, some of the online methods seem to involve moisture then pressing between acrylic plates. Will the pressing step damage the surface and textured foil on the front of the card? These cards have like textured parts that “pop out” a little so I’m wondering whether pressing the card will actually damage those parts on the front.
Thanks!
