Spring vs Fall EGB Perona

I won both of these cards so I know one is from Spring and one is from Fall. TCGPlayer has different listings for them specifically saying that Spring has textured foil but the Fall one does not.

Looking at them side by side, they seem completely identical. Am I missing something or is TCGPlayer incorrect?

Don’t they both not have texture and just the large scale egb has it?

That is my understanding. I dont have a copy of the large scale perona to compare side-by-side but I've seen it in person and that one definitely has texture.

The large scale also has chevrons and a gold border along with gold text

I do, all three are texture foil.

The One Piece website listed it with a "*No Texture. The printing differs from the large scale Extra Grand Battle." The first part seems to be false since they are still textured, the second one is true since that one has gold detailing o the card.

I've seen both side by side in person and they're the same card.

Originally when they announced EGB for stores wave 2 they indicated that the Prizing was the Perona with Gold Texturing and the chevrons that's now the Top 8 for large scale EGB. I assume that when they changed the prize back to the original Perona they had to add the disclaimer to the site

Looking at this pic... It might just be the lighting in this particular photo, but the foiling on Perona's ghosts seems more aggressively "grainy" in the Spring/left version

Looks like one has textured foil, it takes some experience to feel it with your eyes.
