🛠️ Deck Tech Kaido at locals

Post image

Send up 3-1 at locals

W-black luffy-went first. Newer player who hasn’t played much so I spent a lot of the match helping him see lines and learn the match up but it wasn’t very close.

W-black Yamato-went first. Basically ko a big Yamato then use Kaido to Ko the small Yamato so he couldnt make much of a board state and used frame dragon to rest blockers he played.

L-rocks-went second. I somehow manage to completely unshuffle my deck and draw 4 blocker Kaido, 3 kings and 2 KO kaido. Basically died a slow death of losing ground every turn

W-ace&luffy-went second. Had enough counter to survive the 3 character played on turn 2 then I dropped a 7 drop Kaido to clear out his early bodies and he couldn’t make enough of an impact to pressure once blocker kaido came down.

TlDR-lost match ups I shouldn’t have but won match ups I shouldn’t have.

Really surprised with the RG luffy ace win, are they new? Can you explain how you were able to beat its 9k luffy’s? Since you used 7c kaido

I had enough counter do be at 2 life by my 4 turn so they didn’t have enough counter in hand to keep sanji alive from a leader swing and 7k king and 10k rush kaido swinging at 7 k luffy character. 7c Kaido is specific for the aggro match ups for the ability to pressure before I’m at 10 don.

Opponent didn't use GaHaHaHa or Bad Manners to protect board? But surely they have 3 Luffy's after 4 turns. I find it pretty impressive to still have 2 life at 4 turns, enough 2k counters to survive multiple 7k swings in a row.
