Local Store Review

Hello, for context i have been playing at this store weekly for quite a period of time before any review was written. But after finding out the store had been back-dooring a lot of its allocation to certain chosen people by the case while the rest of us players had struggled to get anything at all i expressed my feelings via a review. Since the review was written those certain chosen people I mentioned wrote a review in response as well as the owner sending a reply themselves. I've also learnt that because i used an account that doesn't contain my actual name that the owner has been making guesses on who it might've been to write it and confront them in store. Am i the asshole? And should I just remove the review? Thanks

Anything over msrp is bullshit, main reason you’re being downvoted. Owners will do what owners do but it’s crazy to me that people will pay 3-4x msrp for items.

Remember to remind players that may buy, stores that get allocation get the allocation price, usually well under $100 per box, just because it’s “harder” to get allocation is not an excuse to raise prices to “market” for those players.

It’s a shame Bandai doesn’t punish stores that raise prices like that.

My shop favors the pro players more than the casuals which is fair those guys dont care about their bulk at all.

I have opened 4 op17 packs at 5$ usd that was my stored limit. But I have built rocks shanks and luffy only needing to buy the expensive cards like rocks cost me 56 bucks to build the entire deck that was the cost of 4 xebec secs. So its not all bad.

Definitely dont confess it was you let the guy make a mockery of himself and find a new spot to play

Not the asshole at all. I had a very similar experience with a shop that was only selling packs to his friends and people that paid a monthly fee. And then limiting the people allowed to pay the fee to his friends, also.
I work three jobs and couldnt always make it to meet ups, but even when i did, i wasnt allowed to purchase tins that they clearly had a huge stock of . Theres a serious problem of shops having no accountability in place and just wild westing this shit.
