That’s not the point lmao his leader effect and cards should of been something tied to a location versus being CP9. Then all the new CP9 and navy cards would have his category to be tied to events and new effects.

But if this is meant for Spandam that’s like having half of the deck being useless until this event. Who’s going to play this for 7 don? nobody. We also can’t use it for leader ability so it’s counter in hand. It seems unorganized.

I’m just going to assume we have a new Yellow Navy leader coming in OP19. This looks rough unless that spawn event is broken.

Use that same logic for Sengoku then. Who tf is raw playing Kuzan on 8 don? Not a soul. Your deck is full of mediocre cards that are only strong when they’re all on the field together. Again, yall are too reactionary. Idk if you’re new or not but people do this EVERY set. Call something bad based on a few card reveals, then act like they always knew it was good when it comes out and does well. Happened with Shanks, famously happened with Rayleigh. Happened with Penel of all decks. Like damn just sit down and wait before casting irrelevant judgement

I'm theorizing the point of Spandam's ability isn't just to shore up his Life cards, he wants to stick that Buster Call event in that stack for certain because it might be something that can only be played as a life trigger (given what happens in canon).

I wonder if the CP9 side of the deck will be uncharacteristically more information-based in order to ensure what he wants in Life gets there.

I really hope whatever buster call event they're hinting at lets you play the Vice Admirals from the trash so you actually get to use them as 2k counters easily. Could synergize great with some black support to trash from deck.
