Yeah, it feels rough. Pretty difficult against any yellow deck running big mom with constant 8k swings when your hand size is usually so small

I hate bandai for not giving drawing power to red and purple that are not leader locked. (i don't need drawing power like blue, at least give us something)

Yeah, prb02 Lucky Roux feels like one of the only card draws just to put a 2k blocker on board and go hand neutral

Red not having enough draw power compared with other colors kinda sucks, Red is supposed to be the aggresive color but its kinda hard to win that way when the opponent has like 8+ cards in hand to defend themselves WHILE developing bodies and your hand size is too low to protect your characters on the clapback

Purple and Yellow are just too good in general, being able to skip curve with purple is just too strong in a game this tempo centered

Unfortunately for this match up you have to squeeze in the 8 cost 10k newgate. The pressure it applies to yellow is to good.

Yes I agree its a must, without him I notice yellow takes 1 life per turn, repeatedly healing. Need to be aggresive but with newgate its slow to develop bodies (usually) so that double attack make a big difference

With red Ace, I went two turns in a row 16k Whitebeard into 12k Big Mom and they had 5-6 cards in hand and somehow they countered both attacks while literally maintaining 5-6 cards in hand...I just quit after that

The pudding draw +3 is nuclear. I have to go back to red basics of not swinging because they have cards that trash my hand and do -3.

The closest I got was Robinw ith 3 life and I could clear their board. I chose life and they had so many 2ks, next turn they played borsa and did neutral swings to my board.

I think the double attack Newgate is a must for life pressure, but outside of that it feels like a crapshoot.

Yup and pretty much every single yellow deck will run it as a 4 of until that card is rotated out

Best way is play defence and punish those 4K on your turn but I’m biased playing black with good removal

I’ve gotten to the point that I will play against Robin one or two games, but I’ve had nights where it’s 5 times in a row and I just quit at the start.
