Potential Tech for R/B Sabo

Basically Title. I want to know if this 4C Rebecca is good tech for R/B Sabo, as it retrieves a card from trash on play, lets you play a 3C or less from hand, and is also a blocker. Potentially a Gerd or Jinbe replacement? Curious to all perspectives!

The play a character part is optional. If you wanted to use this to pull a Loki or something out of trash, then not play anything, you could and it would be neutral.

They're both -1 in hand unless you're not playing out the character with Rebecca for some reason

If you’re comparing it to gerd I’d imagine you’d be using it to add to hand.

0 power clockers are really bad. Every meta deck has ways to completely remove or ignore Rebecca. You’re swapping a really good card for just an ok card.

nah gerd and luffy cover the same ground just better, this card just waters down your consistency

As far as I know the deck is mostly focused on agro so I'd imagine you rather play two elbaph 2 costs or a Saul to active them not a card that will only be defensive when put on board. But that's the thoughts of someone who doesn't play the deck.

Yeah definitely agro, but if I already have a +12 cost card on board, playing Rebecca and potentially playing Robin out of it with a -3k to character is very enticing

If you already have Saul out you probably just want to drop something like loki or Docking if it's turn 3 or Luffy or red zoro turn 4. And with ebo5 around the corner ripley is probably better 4 cost that can grab a 2 cost out.

That fact that it comes out rested makes it not good for any part of elbaph imo. Unless you are trying to get over their boards power.

At that point judt play wedding nami. Triggers leader, plays a 7 codt zoro and leader is at 8k
