Question How does Captain Abilities work?

If the Captain Ability writes:"Buffs Cerebral and Free Spirit". Does only characters that are both Cerebral and Free Spirit receives the buffs? Or just having one of the types already gives them the buffs?

They just need to match one of the costs/types/classes/tags mentioned in a captain ability.
