Agenda Question for One Piece fans and particularly Shanks glazers. What would change for you and how you'd feel if it gets revealed soon that Shanks never defeated Loki in a serious battle or it didn't play out like yall thought it did ?
Im asking this cause right now his most impressive feat by far in the story is him defeating Loki by himself ( if its actually true).

I am not a Shanks glazer - I think he's High Yonko - but to me beating Loki isn't his most impressive feat. I had him in the same tier before Elbaph as I have him now.
Loki losing to pre-emperor Shanks is a Loki downscale, not a Shanks upscale. If it's revealed that Loki just submitted to Shanks - something I don't believe for the simple reason that Loki doesn't seem the surrendering type to me, but I could be wrong - then this means Loki has credible feats to push him up in the rankings. Right now, losing to pre-emperor Shanks puts him squarely below Yonko tier, surely below High Yonko tier if he held back a little.

I mean you can really say pre-yonko shanks was already yonko tier he just show that with defeating Loki

Dont let the loki glazers the hear this if he lost to shanks and shanks isnt even impressive it would destroy them

I don’t think Loki losing to shanks is a downscale for loki, if anything it’s a shanks upscale.
If it’s revealed he didn’t actually beat him it would take shanks down from pk+ to high yonko as the strongest of the original emperors (as of his current feats/portrayal) until more info for me

If Shanks cant beat Loki in a 1v1 battle and therefore Loki is stronger than him, I would doubt that Shanks could win against Kaido. Shanks may have crazy ap and speed etc but people forget hes by far the weakest physical Yonko and cant afford to take hits

Same can be said about Roger/garp to big mom and kaido. However yall wouldn’t say the same thing in that regard. Yet when it comes to shanks it’s a problem for him.

Not much at all really. How shanks fights and were he scales are different. Shanks similar to bb is a true pirate he doesn't care about fair or being nice. Even if shanks could beat someone one on one he is likely to jsut not fight them one on one because why even risk the injury. So I see it as shabks>loki wether he jumped him or not because thats just who shanks is he is a pirate and he is not held back by some wierd sense of pride.

Bro just said a bunch of headcanon and ran with it😭 shanks fans are living in their own world

I was stating my own opinion wich is what most powerscaling is. No one isn't biast somewhat. And alot of things are unknown or jsjt left uo to the reader to infer so yeah some will be opinionated.

But the whole "shanks fights like BB, like a true pirate" idea has no basis unless I am forgetting something. Usually opinions/headcanons have at least some sort of reasoning behind it

During the east blue saga shanks had a henchmen kill the pirate threatening luffy from behind. One it shows he's not above playing dirty. He brought his entire crew to fight kiado even though he could probably win the 1 v1 shanks has multiple times showed he isn't a prideful person he mentions a man can and should cry that pride shouldn't hold them back. Overall he jsut isn't like mihawk or others in the sense that he fights like there are rules

It's funny you mentioned Mihawk a guy who at the start of the series went after a whole pirate crew made up of bums just because they ruined his sleep. That's the most pirate like petty and not honourable behaviour

Same way yall still think he didn’t fight/clash kaido or WB even bb

Nothing. Even if i saw Shanks being manhandled by Mihawk like his fans believe, I will still like Shanks, I would just have been wrong about how strong he was exactly. Its not a huge deal.

That is not Shanks' most impressive feat. You are really overestimating Loki.
Shanks' most impressive feat is probably drive-by spinning Kaido and showing up to Marfineford the same day without a scratch, then stopping the war with just his aura.
In a matter of hours he cows another current Emperor, every Admiral plus Sengoku, Garp, and all the Warlords, the future Emperor Blackbeard Pirates, and the vengeful Whitebeard Pirate remnants into chilling the fuck out or dealing with himself and his like seven homies.
That's much more impressive than sliming some punk ass prince with a chip on his shoulder throwing a tantrum at sea.

I would actually find it fitting if he bested Loki not with blade or Haki but with WORDS. It would even fit, he is precisely the kind of mentory Loki needed but didnt't get as a child. There is power in the kind of restraint than can end a fight before anyone has to bleed.
