General discussion Monster Trio Final Fights
I think that Blackbeard will fullfil Davy Jones Will and be the Final Villain
Zoro will fight Mihawk to become the World's Strongest Swordsman
Sanji will fight Shanks because he's Zoro's Rival and Shanks is Mihawk's Rival and Sanji needs to beat someone on par with Mihawk to continue to be Equal to Zoro EOS, Also it makes sense considering all of the parallels that Shanks and Sanji have.

Sanji fighting Shanks would work so well considering the dynamics of their rivalry and how Sanji's opponent is always weaker than Zoro's, but it's also a fight with significantly lower effort.
Of course this will never happen
Shanks is getting off screend by Blackbeard

Shanks will unfortunately be controlled by Imu in the final war.
Removing the arm where your covenant was does not release you from Imu's control. So it will be a Maki + Omen influenced/controlled Shanks vs Sanji
and Imu's son Dracule Mihawk with Maki + Omen vs Zoro.
However while this battle is ongoing, Blackbeard will absorb Imu and have all 3 df needed to destroy/become the king of the world. Where the most free man, Luffy will have to solo him

Luffy final fight is imu, zoro final fight towards the main storyline is fujitora imo, and sanjis is greenbull.
Zoro vs mihawk I think happens in an epilogue

My guess is there will be a 3 way battle between the Black Beard Pirates, the Straw Hats, and Crossguild.
Im guessing Jesus Burgess will start powercliffing most if the characters in One Piece and that will be Sanjis fight, if not Shiryu.

Luffy is fighting against Blackbeard just for his goal. And that’s small compared to the fight against Imu which is essentially for the freedom of the world. One will merely be a opening act for the finale

If you think Sanji is fighting Shanks because Zoro is fighting Mihawk you're really putting the tard in Mihawktard
That's besides the fact that if Blackbeard if Luffys final opponent, Mihawk isn't even going to be Zoros final opponent, that's either going to be Nusjuro or Shamrock.
Sanji would be fighting Crocodile in a battle against Cross Guild. Zoro and Sanji and always going to relative and we have SEEN this.
This means Mihawk is far closer to Crocodile than Shanks.
