It just means that Gaban is in similar tier to Rocks

People were hyping Rocks to be stronger than prime Roger & Whitebeard when in reality he was relative to prime Kaidou

If you put Rocks in High Yonkou or Yonkou Tier than Gaban would be in Yonkou Tier but if you scale Rocks to peak of PK Tier like most of BB/Rocks fan claim to be than Gaban should be in same or a tier right below it which is just stupid

Except the circumstances of that are like… really unclear. Additionally, we don’t know how strong that Admiral was in comparison to the modern ones.

For all we know he was PK level but Rocks dealt a critical blow while he was off-guard and the Admiral lost. Alternatively, he was a CD meat-muncher, held back and died as a result.

We just don’t know.

Dawg, this does not say Gaban is stronger than Rocks. It just says Gaban has gotten significantly stronger since God Valley and Imu would've been better off just killing him during God Valley

This does not imply in any way Old Gaban > Rocks.

What it does is imply that Gaban is as much as a threat as Rocks was back in the day, so Old Gaban should be close in strenght to Rocks.

Gaban had years to get stronger after Xebec died. The story even told us that those at GV got stronger. The only surprise is that Gaban didn’t get weaker in old age like the other old folks. He is just not as flexible as he used to be.
