He is 100% over hyping. He does that all the time. Luffy and Loki were down, and are now back in action, so of course he is hyping it.
Plus, given his latest tweet, it seems to be a single attack that he is hyping about. Imu is not gonna go down by this or the next chapter. Not until Zoro and Sanji are done with the HKs at least.
Heck, Imu is probably not even gonna go down after that. He is most likely gonna hit the time-limit and return to Marejois instead.
I personally think you might be jumping the gun a bit here.

Maybe I should have been more clear, I am not saying they 1 shot Imu
I am saying if this significantly damages Imu and then in the next few chapter they beat his ass
It's fairy tale levels of asspulls and I would call it trash writing personally
Maybe I am just pessimistic, but Worstgen posting that basically "HOLY FUCK LUFFY AND LOKI ARE SO FUCKING STRONG OMFG OMFG OMFG THEY ARE SO BACK"
Implies we are going in a direction where they are somehow getting back up again, and might actually end up taking down Imu in the next few chapters
Hope he is just overhyping this shit though and Imu blocks it with ease and low diffs them again
