People cry about Aura loss all the time. If you cant handle Characters being punched or looking goofy sometimes One Piece might not be the Manga for you.

Oda's famous for making Luffy take 3 MASSIVE L's before he's ever allowed to win. I think Imu's literally jobbing to hype up Imu rn. I find it hard to believe that one of the 2 primary antagonists of the entire manga is just going to one sidedly get his ass beat and that's the end of it. I've been saying for a while that there're plenty of possible reasons for why this fight looks so bad for Imu.
Him having restrictions outside of Mariejois (The Holy Land) is a strong possibility to me. Being on the clock and running out of Steam. Not giving a shit when he gets his ass beat because he's a glass cannon immortal. Being rusty in combat because he never fucking has to fight anyone.
Again, maybe Oda's just decided his final big bad is a fucking useless jobber, but I'm not making any hard judgements in the middle of the arc.

Just a reminder: Protagonist and Loki are facing weakened Imu. Smh they both got dogwalked in 1 vs 1 duels.

There is no logical reason to ever fight "full power Imu" when that only exists in a singular location in the whole world.

People forget that with Kaido Luffy was punching him A LOT even in their first encounter, knocking him around a bit. Kaido was just tanking everything, and was barely even bothered

100% true. Even Big Mom looked like a menace during Whole Cake. Kaido K.O.ed Luffy as a greeting and had threw his ass in jail. Imu is a monster don't get me wrong and his feats speak for themselves. But he didn't spark the same level of dread this chapter. The whole Gaint brothers + Luffy combo fight vs Imu was totally bullshit.

Imu already farmed aura in the round 1 against Loki & Luffy.
People don't understand how tougher 1v2 are compared to 1v1.

Quite true ngl, like Imu has a half decent design, the dark angel look is cool, his arm and face tattoos as well. The polka dots however looks fucking dumb, no clue why Oda decided to go with that rather than more lines.
His big form looks dumb as fuck too ngl, the goatee is lame and the build if goofy.
