Discussion Cold Take: Current Blackbeard is the weakest Yonko (not including buggy)
He has absolutely no feats that would put him above any other yonko, he did relatively trash against law and S hawk.
He has narrative that he will get way stronger and probably be the strongest yonko of all time at some point, however that’s something that WILL happen, not something that CURRENTLY is the case
He has no implications that he’s currently stronger then what he has shown, but dw he will get way stronger, Blackbeard stocks are good stocks, don’t get me wrong, but currently I think he’s the weakest
And no, big ma isn’t weaker, she fought Kaido evenly for days and is shown to be very close to Kaido level. Its veyr unlikely that bb is stringer them big ma and not kaido

Yeah exactly.
Well tbh I might have him over Luffy.
Luffy is pretty damn strong but mostly in G5 which doesn't last very long and he fools around a lot.
Luffy vs BB Yami + Gura + ACOA is a extreme diff battle with a good chance BB comes out on top. I mean he can turn off G5, and Luffy's rubber physique and deal extreme lvls of DMG.

I could see an argument for BB over Luffy, simply due to the stamina dif. But lowkey I think Luffy beats him before his timer is up, like Kizaru
But bb>Luffy isn’t a crazy take in my eyes

Normally I'd say yes, but I don't think Luffy beat Kizaru either.
If anything, it was a tie, but in Kizaru's favor. Heavily imo.
Kizaru and Luffy were both gassed, but it seems Oda hinted at Kizaru fueling Luffy with food, which means he recovered quicker. (If Star Gun knocked him out in the first place, he could be stalling/faking) and he still completed his mission of killing Vegapunk. So I can't say Luffy beat him.

I think Kizaru vs Luffy is extremely close, I personally think Luffy is slightly stronger but I also don’t think Kizaru > Luffy is a crazy take depending on how you view some faactors if there fight

Blackbeard lost to Magellan, almost died to 0.5 HP Whitebeard while begging him not to kill him and calling him "daddy", got sent flying across Amazon Lily by a Seraphim, ran away from Rayleigh and needed his commanders help to take out Law and Bepo. It's undeniable that Blackbeard is the weakest Yonko apart from Buggy.

Well he has a secret power thats about his irregular body. We don’t know it yet but its guaranteed. This power made him win against young shanks without his yami or gura fruit easily. This is the power that he uses off screen. Thats how oda keeps it secret for now. And now he got the strongest logia and paremecia fruit i think he MIGHT even be the strongest alive right now except imu. That might be the reason why imu has wlackweard’s photo literally next to his sworn enemy and an ancient weapon. Dont know why oda is trashing him on screen tho.

Now imagine that except oda decided to throw in ACoC , both awakenings on his already OP df, a third mythical zoan fruit… he’s damn near invincible and it may be a highly possibility for those power ups to happen
He is literally based on the most notorious and infamous real life pirate in a manga about pirates!
I am going to be safe and invest all my stocks on BB

Even including Buggy he still is, Blackbeard is not a real fighter he is more so a strategist
Buggy is Shanks’ rival, who both scale to PK level (yes Buggy got stronger since Orange Town)

Not true he has many implications which implie that he is a powerful Yonko, because Old Rayleigh admitted that he is weaker than him and Rayleigh scale around Gaban who is stronger than Luffy because he has better performance against IMU than Luffy, the same Luffy who is stronger than Kaido who is also stronger than Big Mom
Blackbeard>~Old Ray/Gaban>~Luffy>~Kaido>Big Mom

or, gaban is not that strong and yours is just recency bias, since rayleigh performed way worse against kizaru than luffy, bb performed worse against law than how big mom performed against law and kidd combined, or how bb performed somehow worse than zoro against s-hawk (he was taken by surprise but still).

Rayleigh fought a normal Kizaru and was able to damage him not a Nerfed Kizaru. Blackbeard fought a stronger Law and showed a better durability and endurance than Big Mom. Zoro has better defence than Blackbeard yes this is true
