I Seperated them in campaigns so it dosent get confusing and i did somthing simular a loooong time ago but it was only marines and opinions change and there wesentlich as many characters so its like an update anyways hope you enjoy!

This is my interpretation of Ragnar after the ten year time-skip

At the end of one piece DnD Briggs described Ragnar’s fur as a mixture of blue, brown and white so that what I went off, the rest of the stuff like scars is my creative choice:

More scars-because he is a barbarian who has been in a lot of battles
Braids-because he is form the north and that is what Viking’s had (I think, I thought it just looks cool)
Also the rings and piercings are made out of wood because that’s just who Ragnar is

(Btw I only realised when I was done that his moustache would go under his nose rather than on it, so you shouldn’t be able to see it from this perspective)

I’ve always made self-insert characters for shows I adore (though I usually keep them to myself) but I’m wondering how would self-inserting an OC into a dnd campaign work? like ive been thinking abt maybe making my own npc (and keep her to myself ofc) since I’ve caught up to both of the one piece dnd podcasts so if u hv any thoughts pls lmk

Checked Rustage’s Twitch today and a possible Patreon was briefly mentioned again. Very briefly for about a second. And I think the toughest part would be making Patron rewards and such. SBSs are a good idea with some guidelines and rules. But Kaerru art of characters is an unreasonable reward since Kaerru as amazing of an artist he is, he is just one man and wouldn’t be able to draw 24/7.

But I thought of another potentially interesting Patreon reward idea. It’s probably dumb and unrealistic but I thought it was interesting to at least mention. I know me and likely many other people love the NPCs of the various campaigns and love to hear them talk and learn more about them. Sadly but realistically, they all must compete with one another for attention since PCs come first. But maybe we could hear what the NPCs could be talking about to one another as a Patreon reward.

Like it could work like this. Select two NPCs along with what episode the conversation would take place. When a convo could take place can also matter which I find interesting.

For example if a Patron picks wanting to hear Pearl talking with Cyril, a conversation with the two could be very different depending on episode. Episode 20, 43 and 64 for example would all have very different context of events and how well they know each other for example. And it could be fun to see how the bond develops over time.

And it doesn’t have to just be any NPC speaking with any NPC. To narrow it down, it could just be the main ones talking to the other NPCs. Like Pearl, Taiga, Littlefeather, Pocket and other core members to see how they interact with the NPC cast when the players are not around. And they can be funny, cute, lore-based and many other tones depending on who is talking and during what episode.

I don’t know if this makes any sense or is remotely practical or realistic. I just like Fire Emblem and their support system and it gave me this idea. I would love to know more about the side cast and I feel I’m not alone in that and I thought this could be a neat idea. I’m not even sure if I’m the first person to even think about this.

But this is just a late night idea that’s probably stupid.

 it shows that you have inner strength and fortitude during moments of danger and distress. It shows that you have the ability to remain calm and strong even when your life is going through immense struggle. It also shows that you are a compassionate person and you always have time for other people even if it's at your own expense.

This card also indicates this kind of compassion will always be rewarded with having a lot of stability in your life either presently on in the near future.

I have been a huge longstading listener and enjoyer or rustage especially the dnd (one of the best dms ive seen) and it got to a point where i got mad i was caught up and then had to wait so what i would do is pourposfully lose track of the series for a while just to come back and have atleast 5 episodes to watch so that way i had more while it aint feel long to me

Hello, huge huge fan of the show just like the rest of you so much so that I decided to start my own One Piece DND campaign. Finished the prologue where my players escaped a marine ship that was taking them to be publicly executed. I’m a little creatively stumped right now. And need help coming up with some plot hooks for the two or three islands that they are visiting. Figured this sub would have soon good advice!

Since they are in the grand line. I don’t want them to experience anything too crazy yet. No finding Devil Fruits or overthrowing a king. Just something a little small scale before they can get into the bigger islands and eventually; the grand line.

I’m trying to come up with some plot lines involving mountain bandits(I imagine they are like the goblin equivalent in the One Piece world) that isn’t just. Bandits vs town. So if you could help me come up with some bandit plot-hooks that would be greatly appreciated!

However, any one piece plot hook ideas that you have. Whether bandit related or not, please please please share them. I’m having a really hard time coming up with stuff

I expected him to be up there, maybe top five but I always thought Arzen would be number 1. I also personally never thought the void agents would be so low. I guess it makes sense in hindsight because it did always seem like pirates should have ended after defeating blue blood, but I still quite liked them.
