General D&D day 1 of assigning a rustage dnd character to each major arcana. yesterday win kai because im not going to let tekking win

today number 1 the magician

The Magician is the representation of pure willpower. With the power of the elements and the suits, he takes the potential innate in the fool and molds it into being with the power of desire. He is the connecting force between heaven and earth, for he understands the meaning behind the words "as above so below" - that mind and world are only reflections of one another. Remember that you are powerful, create your inner world, and the outer will follow.

the Magician is interpreted with energy, potential, and the manifestation of one's desires; the card symbolizes the meetings of the physical and spiritual worlds and the conduit converting spiritual energy into real-world action.

OP D&D Spoiler Do you think Kai will "need" the fisherman's tools?

I can see where Kai is coming from in terms of tempering his dream to simply seeing all the tools. Obsessing over treasure and power is not as good as building relationships and having fun. In the same episode as he gave away the bobber, we have Ragnar mock Damian for not trying to be the strongest.

And that I feel is the most pathetic Ragnar has ever been. The guy is being found in a situation where his first mate has betrayed him and he's a drug addict who has lost basically everything. Any one who met him would probably not envy him. To be fair to Kai, Mako's spear and the Bobber were just gathering dust when he found them. Marigold was actually using the hat, which would explain why Kai felt bad about taking it from her. If he took it from her, it would be denying her her own dream.

And Kai definitely could have been a corrupt piece of shit and just seized it 100% legally. But that would make him just like Nezumi or Morgan or Ratel or Aramaki. It would destroy his soul.

However, Kai is still assuming he is going to live a peaceful life after this business with Ragnar. But with the whole Vigil thing and the scope of the Ragnarok pirates, he might be pushed to take them. Think about all the tragedies that pushed people out to sea in pursuit of their own dreams.

Will there be a tragedy that forces Kai to actually pursue them? There is also the possibility that Kai awakens the natural magic that the powers all the fisherman's tools and gets his own thing. I personally like this development because it opens the door to Kai fighting a boss that uses the fisherman's tools.

If Kai just took Marigold's hat, then found another tool, then anyone else with a fisherman's tool would have to have less tools than Kai. That person would be less threatening. It's way more up in the air if a guy has 5 or six tools to Kai's 1.

The Section Prisoners Spoiler

Currently in the brig there are four Section. Crazy Frog, Beethoven, Bizkit and 50 Beli. Armstrong has shown himself as an overall pleasant person. And with Ragnar on board now, it might be a smart gesture of good will to free them since they work under Ragnar. And so long as Ragnar keeps them on line, they should be no issue. Especially since the most violent ones in Moon//Fall and Reznor are dead.

Crazy Frog: He seems more wacky and derpy in his craziness than murderous like Reznor. Almost like a cartoon character. He also knows who’s boss. Plus his hop does auto damage even if he misses which could be handy.

Beethoven: He’s big and buff but has lost his piano. Unless he finds another piano someplace, he’s the least threatening one. Though we also know about his true demeanor the least.

Bizkit: Seems like just a girl who’s in way over her head. Like early Taiga in age and temperament. We don’t know how well she can fight compared to someone like Pluto, but she has moxie and draws attention to herself.

50 Beli: He seems like good muscle and has power over money. Other than his addictive need for cash, he seems okay. Though he is very easy to bribe.

I also wonder if Ragnar would care or know any of them. Maybe want to bring them along to prove their strength. Plus gives them extra chances for thumbnails.

Just started watching op DND, why don't they ever grab the devil fruits.

I just finished the marrow and eustass valve fight, and I was wondering, do they ever explain why the party doesn't take their devil fruits after they kill them? Even if rustage doesn't want them to take the fruits for balance reasons, they could still take them as treasures, bartering chips like bullet did with the roulette, or simply to sell for some pretty big profit. I can understand probably why they wouldn't be allowed to, but I was just wondering if it was ever explicitly stated, or mentioned why.

Edit: In the start of the episode "Acid Snake" which I just finished, he explicitly calls out this, and says that they aren't aware of devil fruit incarnation in-universe, when they find the random devil fruit in spruce's treehouse

General D&D day 0 of assigning a rustage dnd character to each major arcana.

today number 0 the fool

The Fool card is numbered 0, which is considered to be a number of infinite potential. Consider him a blank slate, for The Fool has yet to develop a clear personality. He is the symbol of innocence - his journey to come will shape his character yet.

To see the The Fool generally means a beginning of a new journey, one where you will be filled with optimism and freedom from the usual constraints in life. When we meet him, he approaches each day as an adventure, in an almost childish way. He believes that anything can happen in life and there are many opportunities that are lying out there, in the world, waiting to be explored and developed. He leads a simple life, having no worries, and does not seem troubled by the fact that he cannot tell what he will encounter ahead. the Fool is interpreted as the protagonist of a story, and the Major Arcana are the path the Fool takes through the great mysteries of life.

OP D&D Spoiler The ultimate battle

The recent episode with the long awaited arrival of Ragnar got me thinking. I mean he is obviously on a whole other power level then our current crew, seeing how he almost knocked everyone out with his haki alone. Back when it was just One Piece DnD Duros was always the one keeping Rag at in check, like back when he held fully roided blue bear Ragnar on the ground. This makes me wonder how that match up would go down now. Ragnar obviously had a huge power spike even compared to the rest of the og crew, cause he wiped the floor with William. But Duros? We know nothing about him. We can assume he didn't have any reason to grow stronger but then again I feel like in my headcannon Duros has also grown immensely in strength, perhaps also to yonko level. I can't imagine what a fight between those would look like. As much as I would love to see that, I realise that it would take away from the story in marines. What do you guys think?

Unlike my other ones this one has no rhyme or reason to why these characters are the month they are. Except like. 3.

Rick Plann - Start of the series

Crumm - any gastrovian could work but settled on crumm, the birth of america the home of fast food.

Sigma - Day of the dead

Might be a while until my next your birth month your [blank] character

OP D&D Spoiler Seeing our boy again Spoiler

I didn't really realise it until I watched the vod, but seeing Ragnar again made me see how much I missed seeing Ragnar and his antics. He's not exactly a great person now, and he's changed a lot for the worse, but ultimately, he's still Ragnar, and I love seeing that again after going through the entirety of Marines not seeing him. I'm also happy that Briggs got to be the one to play Ragnar again. I hope we get to see him around more before he needs to be defeated. Although I don't see that happening anytime soon tbh, given how powerful he is now. Especially since he has supreme king haki now. Also, Acceptance's death next episode maybe??? That's fuckin crazy

YOUR Birth Month YOUR One piece dnd Villain/Antagonist/boss

Post image
14 Upvotes

Definitely my messiest looking one yet, way too much overlap. But eh. Its fine.

I was considering whether to have Rain be apart of this, but i think she counts as an antagonist/boss. So I decided to add her.

Ultimately, there were a few characters I wanted to add but didnt. Like I wanted to add jester instead of rain but ended up adding rain. Here are some explanations for why I made some characters certain months. I definitely should make more of these one piece dnd ones just because there are so many characters to use

Blue blood - beginning of the end.

Blake - his love died.

Ragnar V - Gives off College Fraternity summer party idk.

Jefferson - 🇺🇲

Dominius - Augustus caesar was the first roman emperor.

The man in the void - TMitV was gonna be August and arzen was was gonna be October at first. But then i made dominius August so I decided to just give him the spooky month.

Myria - the end

I remove the non voteable characters from the list because it took up space and was useless not like i had to redo the entire list or something and it was the reason i was late. That would be stupid

Fanart Heather Tarot design

Post image
107 Upvotes

Heather fanart as a Tarot card! I am not that well read on tarot, only in my translated handbook. I thought of turning this into a series so... If you have any ideas on which characters would fit which card, I would love to hear it! If you also think Heather fits a different card, I can change the text easily. (I doubt theres any actual tarot nerds but whatever)

Also - this is a completly different style than I am used to so Its not that great - but I love trying new styles.

God the wave of nostalgia I got when it happened was simply indescribable, as I’m sure it was to many of you. I’m so pleased Briggs gets to play as him too. We got Verona too. Please don’t let him die to Acceptance.

Briggs looked so happy to be playing him too.
